Two hurt after dump truck rollover on Hwy. 401 in Cambridge

A large multi-vehicle collision on Highway 401 eastbound at the Highway 8 flyover in Cambridge has closed all Highway 401 eastbound lanes.

A large multi-vehicle collision on Highway 401 eastbound at the Highway 8 flyover in Cambridge closed all Highway 401 eastbound lanes Wednesday afternoon.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said three vehicles were involved including a dump truck that rolled over.

Two people were hurt, one with minor injuries and the other in serious condition.

Traffic was heavily impacted throughout the afternoon drive, with the closure in place until at least 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.

There is no word on charges at this point.
