Tools, equipment stolen from shed near Guelph’s Exhibition Park

Guelph police are now searching for the suspect in a break-in into a shed outside a home located near Guelph’s Exhibition Park on Wednesday morning.
Around 7:30 a.m. that morning, police say they received reports that a homeowner near Exhibition had discovered their shed had been broken into. Police obtained security camera footage which showed a male suspect entering the property early Wednesday morning and leaving with several stolen items.
Police have released a suspect description in the hopes of finding the man responsible. The suspect is described as a white male, wearing black pants and black hoodie, a black baseball hat and carrying a grey or green backpack.

Guelph Police Service says they encourage the public to take steps to make their property less attractive to potential thieves. They urge property owners to install security cameras and motion lights where possible, and to always lock sheds and garages.
