Driver impaired by drugs, alcohol charged in rollover crash

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a driver in their twenties, after they were reportedly behind the wheel while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

The crash on Saturday evening, saw a car lose control and rollover multiple times before landing in a ditch on Wellington Road 22 in Guelph-Eramosa Township.

Police said the driver and the passenger miraculously had only minor injuries.

Tyler Doiron, 24, from Orangeville has since been charged with four offences including driving while impaired by drugs and alcohol.

His licence has also been suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle impounded for seven days.

Doiron will appear in court in Guelph at the end of September.
