Arrest made after noxious substance sprayed in Cambridge neighbourhood

A heavy police presence in a Cambridge neighbourhood Wednesday morning saw one person arrested.

Police tell CityNews Kitchener around 11:00 a.m., officers were called to a disturbance at a home on Walter Street near Langs Drive and Concession Road.

“A victim told police they had been sprayed with a noxious substance by a known male during the altercation,” said police in an email to CityNews.

A 39-year-old Cambridge man has since been arrested and charged with multiple offences.

Those charges included assault with a weapon and breaching a judicial order.
