Three people were injured following a two-vehicle crash in Wellesley and a police investigation is ongoing.
Police responded to the Kressler and Erbsville roads area Friday morning after a Toyota SUV and Chevrolet pick-up truck collided.
Investigators believe the SUV slowed down to make a left turn onto Erbsville when it was struck from behind by the Chevrolet.
The Chevrolet rolled onto its side, and the driver, a 52-year-old man from Wellington County, was airlifted to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
The passenger in the truck, a 17-year-old girl, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 52-year-old Waterloo woman operating the Toyota was also transported to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
The Erbsville and Kressler intersection was closed Friday morning into the afternoon for the investigation.
Anyone with information on the crash, including witnesses, is asked to call the Waterloo Regional Police Service at 519-570-9777, ext. 8856.
