Critterfest crawls into the region

Returning to the Waterloo Region, Ontario’s first traveling Pet and Plant Expo is here once again.
With a variety of local pet and plant vendors selling a mix of services and unique plants, the expo will be a great opportunity to gather with the community.
Vendors working around all kinds of different animals, like lizards, birds, dogs, cats and even bugs will be there. If you were hoping to research your next pet or plant, experts and vendors will be there to help.
The expo will be open on Aug 8, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., at the Woolwich Memorial Centre.
A list of things available includes:
- Garden Goodies
- Animal meet and greets
- Kids activities/interactive zones
- Handmade goods
- Small businesses
- Giveaways/Prizes
In a release, the organizers of Critterfest says that ticket proceeds will go to animal rescues and wildlife rehabilitation centre’s.
Pets are allowed to attend, with the signature of a waiver.
Admission is $12 online or $10 at the door, children 12 and under can enter for free.
