Police search for man wanted in criminal harassment case

The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) is looking for a man wanted in connection with a criminal harassment case from June.

On June 28, police were called to reports of “unwanted contact” at a Kitchener home.

Following the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for 28-year-old Michael Ikechukwu.

Police are hoping information from the public can help in what has been an unsuccessful search for the man so far.

“The whereabouts of Mr. Ikechukwu are unknown and attempts by police to locate and arrest him have been unsuccessful,” read a statement from police.

Ikechukwu is said to frequent Kitchener and Waterloo.

He is facing charges of criminal harassment and breach of probation.
