Kitchener Rangers set for cross-conference clash against Sudbury

The Kitchener Rangers will look to take back their lead in the Midwest Division on Friday night with a game against the Sudbury Wolves.

Last weekend, the Rangers won five of six points in a three-in-three, capping it off with a 3-1 win over the North Bay Battalion on Sunday.

That win vaulted the Blueshirts into the top spot in the Midwest Division, but it’s a tight race with the Owen Sound Attack, who re-took the division lead after a win over Sarnia on Wednesday.

Rangers Captain Cameron Reid is riding a six-game point streak heading into Friday’s action, and scored his first goal of the year against North Bay.

After Friday, the Blueshirts head to Brampton for a game against the Steelheads on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Hear all the action on 570 NewsRadio with Mike Farwell and Josh Piercey starting at 6:30 p.m.
