Police looking to speak with man after Waterloo stabbing

A weekend stabbing in Uptown Waterloo has police looking to speak with a man, shown in a new photo.

Sunday morning at 2:15 a.m., police responded to that reported stabbing in the King Street North and Bridgeport Road East area of Waterloo.

Two men were sent to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Those victims have been identified as a 24-year-old Cambridge man, and a 28-year-old Waterloo man.

Waterloo regional police are still calling this a targeted incident.

They do not call the pictured man a suspect, instead saying that investigators would like to speak to him.

Police are, however, asking anyone that may spot him to call 911 immediately and to not approach him.
