Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint in Waterloo

It was a scary moment for a local pizza delivery driver in Waterloo this weekend, after they were held up at gunpoint and had their vehicle stolen.

Regional police say the robbery happened in the Parkside Drive area of Waterloo on Saturday morning, around 5:10 a.m.

The driver was making a delivery to the suspect when a gun was pulled on them, and was demanded to hand over their car keys.

The suspect, took off in the driver’s vehicle and was last seen heading westbound on Bearinger Road.

The delivery driver did not sustain any physical injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’10” with a thin build and approximately 25 years old, and was wearing a black ski mask and a black hoodie.

The investigation is ongoing.
