Rangers kick off three-in-three with a bout against the red-hot Firebirds

The Kitchener Rangers are set to play three games in three nights this weekend, starting with a bout against the red-hot Flint Firebirds on Friday night.

The Blueshirts are coming off a statement 3-2 win in overtime against the London Knights on Sunday.

The Firebirds have had a great October and are enjoying a four-game win streak that started with a 3-0 win against the Rangers a few short weeks ago.

The Rangers currently sit second in the Midwest Division, three points behind the Owen Sound Attack with a game in hand.

After tonight, the Rangers head up to Barrie for a battle with the Colts on Saturday and then back to The Aud on Sunday for a tilt against the North Bay Battalion.

Tune into all the action this weekend on 570 NewsRadio with Mike Farwell and Josh Piercey. Friday’s pre-game show begins at 6:30 p.m.
