Driver, 19, loses vehicle indefinitely after speeding incidents: Guelph police

Guelph police say a 19-year-old driver lost his vehicle for good after repeated speeding incidents.
Officers with the police service’s traffic unit allegedly caught the man driving 134 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on the Hanlon Pkwy. Thursday afternoon.
The 19-year-old from Arthur was charged with speeding and stunt driving.
Police then determined the driver was already facing stunt and dangerous driving charges relating to a traffic stop from last year.
“His licence was suspended for 30 days and his vehicle was seized indefinitely to prevent further offences,” read a release from the Guelph Police Service.
Guelph police had already charged another driver, a 23-year-old Breslau man, with stunt driving and other offences Thursday morning after he was allegedly clocked driving 105 km/h in a 60 km/h zone on Woodlawn Rd.
His licence was also suspended for 30 days and his vehicle was impounded for two weeks.
