Waterloo Region is growing rapidly with entreprenuers, starting as young as high school students.
Junior Achievement’s annual trade show was held at Sun life Financial this morning, a chance for students to present their companies to Sun life employees.
Program Specialist for Junior achievement in Waterloo Laura Kaun says the after school program runs three times a week for young aspiring entrepreneurs.
“There are secret judges walking around, they will be judged based on the uniqueness of their product, their sales pitch and their professionalism.”
Junior Achievement continues to increase in popularity. This year, the program reached to nearly 140 students.
