Kitchener scratch ticket winner looks to buy truck for daughter

Gregory’s daughter is getting a new truck.

The Kitchener man is $50,000 richer after winning with OLG’s Vault Scratch ticket.

The winning ticket was bought at Stop 2 Shop on Highland Road West in Kitchener.

“When the ticket checker said I won $50,000, I couldn’t believe it! I threw my hands up in the air in excitement,” said Gregory. “This has been a surreal experience.”

The first person he shared the good news with was his daughter, who at the time had only believed he won $50.

“I told her to take a closer look! She was thrilled and happy for me when she realized I’d won $50,000!”

She’ll be even happier to hear Gregory plans to spend the cash on getting her a truck, and paying some bills.
