Serious motorcycle crash sends one to hospital

A Kitchener motorcyclist had to be sent to an out-of-region hospital for treatment after a crash Sunday afternoon.

Around 2:15 p.m., police were called to the Fischer-Hallman Road and Greenbrook Drive area of Kitchener to reports of a two-vehicle collision.

One of those vehicles was a Kawasaki motorcycle. Its rider, a 30-year-old man from Kitchener, was seriously hurt.

Police said the man’s injuries are non-life-threatening.

Anyone who witness the crash or who has dash camera footage is asked to contact police. No charges have been laid at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
