Rangers and Spitfires set for Conference Finals dogfight

The Western Conference Finals begin under the Friday night lights at The Aud.

The Kitchener Rangers are set for a thrilling series against the Windsor Spitfires, with games one and two taking place on home ice.

Windsor swept both the Guelph Storm and Flint Firebirds en route to this series. The Rangers have lost one game so far this post-season, game four in their series against Sault Ste. Marie.

There’s plenty of history between these two hockey clubs, and the Spitfires will be looking for revenge after the Rangers completed the reverse-sweep against Windsor in the second round of the 2025 OHL playoffs.

Forward Dylan Edwards led the way offensively for the Rangers through the second round, being named OHL Player of the Week for his 4 goals and 2 assists in three games against the Soo.

It’s set to be a star-studded night at The Aud, with Rangers alumni Jeff Skinner, Hunter Brzustewicz, and Evan McGrath will sound the siren before puck drop.

Game two takes place at The Aud on Sunday before the series shifts over to the Rose City for game three on Monday.
