Rafferty trial to be moved

The trial of the man accused of killing Tori Stafford will be held outside Woodstock.
Michael Rafferty faces a first-degree murder hearing in the death of eight-year-old Tori, who disappeared outside her Woodstock school almost two years ago.
However, it remains an issue as to where exactly in the province Rafferty will stand trial.
Crown prosecutor Brian Crockett told the court today the “proper administration of justice” demands the trial be moved given the intense publicity surrounding the case.
Tori’s dad, Rodney Stafford, said it made no difference to him where accused killer _ whom he saw in person for the first time today _ would be tried.
Rafferty, 30, and Terri-Lynne McClintic, 20, were charged more than one after the abduction and Tori’s remains were found in a field more than 100 kilometres north of Woodstock.
McClintic pleaded guilty last April, and was sentenced to life in prison.
