Public health has confirmed 240 cases of the flu in the region this year.
Half of those cases were H1N1.
A total of 119 flu cases were confirmed as H1N1, 33 of which required hospitalization and three of which proved fatal.
Public health hosted 32 community flu clinics this year, administering 38-thousand 500 doses of the H1N1 vaccine.
Another 113-thousand 500 doses were delivered to area hospitals and family physicians.
The region ended up with a 48-thousand dollar surplus in its H1N1 program.
The information was presented to the Community Services Committee this afternoon.
