Conestoga students concerned about potential strike

Students at Conestoga College in Kitchener are wondering how a potential strike would affect their schooling.

Michelle says she takes 25 hours of class per week, and if the instructors walk out, she might be out of luck when it comes to a summer job.

Jason, a public relations student, tells 570 News he’s also worried about what a strike would mean for the job he has lined up after school is done.

Instructors at two dozen colleges in the province will vote tomorrow on whether to give their union a strike mandate.

The issues include workload and academic freedom.
