Barnraisers Council announced

The head of the region’s new Barnraisers Council says he is humbled to be leading such a talented group.
Entrepreneur Tim Jackson has been tapped to lead the 12-member team that will provide guidance to our growing region.
Jackson tells 570 News the council will have four key areas of consideration.
They are economic health, social equity, environmental responsibility, and cultural vitality.
Jackson says the first year of the council will be used to establish a direction, adding that its work will always be transparent to the community.
Other members named to the council today include Mosaic Counselling Executive Director Cathy Brothers, and academic John English.
