Attempted jewellery store robbery sees four suspects at large in Kitchener

Regional police are investigating an attempted jewellery store robbery that occurred Thursday night in Kitchener.

Calls were received of the incident at roughly 7:55 p.m. of the attempted robbery at a jewellery store near Highland Road West and Fischer-Hallman Road.

Three suspects entered the store with hammers and proceeded to smash open glass display cases, prompting staff to intervene.

The three fled the store without getting any of the jewellery and got in a vehicle with a fourth suspect waiting for them, last seen headed westbound on Queen’s Boulevard.

Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Break and Enter, Auto theft, and Robbery unit is continuing to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 519-570-9777, extension 8255, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
