Serious motorcycle-on-vehicle collision in Kitchener being investigated

Waterloo regional police are investigating a serious motorcycle-on-vehicle collision in Kitchener early Saturday.

At around 1:15 a.m. on May 9, authorities responded to a report of a crash between a Buick and a Honda motorcycle at the intersection of Victoria South and Walnut streets.

The 25-year-old Kitchener man riding the motorcycle was taken to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured in the collision.

The Victoria at Walnut intersection was closed for several hours while the crash was investigated, and charges are now anticipated.
