Kiwanis Kids’ Day returns to Kitchener park

Kiwanis Kids’ Day is now back in Kitchener, with the goal of fundraising money for local programs, and giving families a fun Saturday.
Admission to get into the event at Kiwanis Park is $6.88 per adult and $4.60 per child, paid at the gate.
This years event will be hosted Aug 1, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and City of Kitchener pool passes will be accepted at the gate.
With your admission, you will have access to:
- The pool
- Different lawn games
- Bouncy Castle
- Popcorn and Freezies
- A live percussion session
In the events release, they said that the fundraising and donations will be going towards:
- KW Kiwanis Kids & Youth programs: Highschool/University Leadership programs (Key Clubs & Circle K Clubs)
- Music Education: Our KW Kiwanis Music Festival supports Music Education for hundreds of children in the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) and our Kiwanis Music Education Fund – subsidized music lessons/instruments for deserving kids/youth.
There will also be food trucks at the event, though food will not be covered by the general admission cost.
