Arson incident involving Cambridge business under investigation

Police are investigating an arson incident involving a Cambridge business.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) was called this week about suspicious damage at a commercial property in the George Street North area.

Property belonging to the business was found partially burned and submerged in the Grand River.

It’s believed the arson happened sometime overnight Tuesday or Wednesday.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact WRPS or Crime Stoppers.
