Waterloo Region sees temperatures cool as fall approaches

Autumn begins Tuesday and with the new season comes some cooler weather for Waterloo Region.

Overnight lows Sunday and into Monday morning were around 10°C with a high of 16°C expected Monday afternoon.

Environment Canada predicted Monday night could get as cold as 8°C.

On Tuesday, cloudy skies are in the forecast throughout the day, while temperatures are expected to reach a high of 16°C. Overnight, those clouds will stick around bringing a low of 8°C as well.

Going into Wednesday, those cloudy skies will bring a 40% chance of some rainfall in the early afternoon and evening. Wednesday’s high is 18°C; the overnight low will drop down to 9°C.

Through Thursday and Friday, those cool and cloudy conditions will continue.
