Police look to identify man after four thefts from vehicles in Waterloo

Police are hoping to identify a person in connection with an ongoing investigation into thefts from vehicles parked at homes in Waterloo.

During the last full week of September, Waterloo regional police said four thefts from vehicles were reported in the Wissler Road and Sandringham Drive area of the city.

That’s in the Northfield Drive East and Davenport Road area.

“In each incident, property was stolen from vehicles parked in residential parking lots,” said police.

“Stolen property included wallets, cash, bank cards, keys, documents, and other personal items. In some of the incidents, stolen bank cards were subsequently used at nearby businesses.”

Investigators have since released two photos of a man they are looking to identify in connection with the case.
