KW Woodwind Quintet leads next Cambridge Summer Live show

The KW Woodwind Quintet will be the next artists to show off their talent and perform for Cambridge Summer Live.

Their performance will begin Sunday, at 7 p.m., at the Amphitheatre in Mill Race Park.

The Woodwind Quintet have played in the Waterloo Region for over 40 years, playing a wide range of music.

Their performance will be the first scheduled in August for Cambridge Summer Live.

This year’s performance will be outdoors, with a focus on classical favourites, popular tunes, and movie music.

The artists that make up the quintet are: Sarah Cardwell, Wendy Wagler, Barbara Hankins, Trevor Wagler, Oskar Martinez.

The group of four uses five different instruments to perform, including:

  • Flute
  • Oboe
  • Clarinet
  • Bassoon
  • French Horn

The hosts of the event recommend that you bring a lawn chair, blanket, or a cushion to sit on for the outdoor concert. They are also reminding residents that there is a chance of delay or cancellation due to weather conditions.
