Distracted driver has vehicle cut out of trees with chainsaw

It won’t be a morning a teenage driver will forget any time soon.
Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said a young driver had to have their vehicle cut out of a forested area, after reportedly driving distracted right through a T-intersection in Guelph-Eramosa.
An 18-year-old from Action has been charged with driving while using a handheld communication device, as well as careless driving.
Early Sunday morning, police said a driver failed to stop at a stop sign, and drove right into the wooded area at the Jones Baseline and Eastview Road intersection just outside of Guelph.
The car was lodged so significantly into the trees and branches, it had to be cut out by emergency crews with the help of a chainsaw.
No one was hurt.
