Two suspects at large after robbery at Waterloo convenience store

Two suspects are at large following a robbery incident at a convenience store in the university district of Waterloo early Monday morning.
Around 3 a.m. on July 13, police were called about a reported robbery at a business in the King Street North and University Avenue area.
It’s alleged that two male suspects walked into the store and tried to steal merchandise, but were confronted by an employee.
The worker was assaulted by one of the suspects and both males fled with items in-hand.
No injuries have been reported and at this time, no suspect descriptions have been released.
