Motorcyclist seriously injured in Cambridge crash

Police say a motorcyclist was seriously injured following a crash in Cambridge.

Emergency services responded to the Concession Street and Ainslie Street South intersection around 11:25 a.m. on Tuesday.

An SUV and motorcycle collided. The motorcyclist, a 27-year-old Cambridge man, was transported to hospital.

His injuries are described as being serious but non-life-threatening, while the 52-year-old Cambridge woman driving the SUV was not hurt.

Waterloo regional police say their investigation into the crash is ongoing but charges are anticipated.
