Regional police searching for suspect in Kitchener sexual assault

Regional police are investigating after a woman in Kitchener was sexually assaulted while on a trail near the Grand River.

The incident took place on a boat launch trail near the area of Otterbein Road and Misty Street at around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The woman says a slim, 60-year-old man sexually assaulted her on the trail.

There were no injuries reported in the incident.

The man is described as being South Asian with a slim build, thin grey hair, and was wearing red pants at the time of the assault.
