String of vitamin thefts in tri-cities being investigated

Waterloo police have begun investigating a string of retail thefts taking place in Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo.

Between May 23 and 27, a man and a woman attended multiple retail stores, stealing vitamins at each. Investigators believed the series of thefts may be connected and could be part of an organized retail crime scheme.

The overall value of the merchandise stolen is estimated to be more than $1,300 in total.

Investigators have released a photo of the suspects to the public.
