Rangers and Greyhounds continue their series up in the Soo

The Kitchener Rangers are up in the Soo, looking to strengthen their grip on their series against the Greyhounds in Game 3 of their second-round playoff series on Tuesday night.

Game 2 at The Aud was one of the most exciting games in recent memory, with the Rangers taking an 8-5 win over the Greyhounds after a back-and-forth contest between the two sides.

Kitchener forward Sam O’Reilly scored a hat-trick on the night, including two empty net goals, and Dylan Edwards netted two goals of his own, including the eventual game-winner.

The Rangers lost both of their visits to GFL Memorial Gardens in the Soo during the regular season; both of those games came before the Rangers had completed their squad through trades.

If the Rangers fail to win in either Game 3 or Game 4, they will return to The Aud for Game 5 on Friday.
