Mopar car enthusiasts around the region can look forward to the upcoming Moparfest in New Hamburg on Aug. 15, and 16.
With Mopar vehicles making the trip from across all of Ontario, the all Mopar Car Show has drawn in over 1,000 cars for each of its last three years. Its largest recent turnout was in 2023, where they say 1,527 Mopar Vehicles made the journey to Moparfest.
Last year’s total ended at just over 1,300 Mopar’s across the two-day event in New Hamburg. This year they hope to break their record, with all pre-registered participants having a chance to win a 1968 Dodge Dart GT Convertible.

Activities available at the show:
There will also be different activities, both vehicle and non-vehicle related:
- Kids Power Wheels drag racing
- 11 different food trucks
- A flea market with 50 non-automotive vendors
- A silent auction
- Live music from Johnny Borton
- Scavenger hunts
- Bingo
Apart from the Dodger convertible, other raffles and giveaways will be held throughout the two-day show. Both Saturday and Sunday will have a different 50/50 ticket raffle. There will also be a bike draw where kids 12 and under enter for free, with winners being named at the end of the day.
For the first time, organizers are introducing “people’s choice voting.” This will allow attendees to vote for which 1989 or older and 1990 or newer vehicle is their favourite.
Pre-registration for the 2026 show has closed, though anyone who wants their Mopar on display will still have a chance. Registration is available at the gate for $50, which covers your vehicle and two adults.
Another change from last year’s event, kids 15 and under will now be able to watch the event for free, instead of the previous 12 and under. Spectator tickets are $20 per person.
