Regional Police investigating disturbances on LRT

Waterloo Regional Police are asking for information after a pair of incidents on the LRT in Kitchener last week.

It was last Thursday, March 26, police say a man boarded an ION train and started causing a disturbance before lunging at a victim with an unknown green object in his hand.

Police say the same man then spat on a female passenger.

The man left the train at the Fairway Station.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police are looking to identify other potential victims. Information can be directed to the Waterloo Regional Police Service at 519‑570‑9777.
