Panthers edge Baycats Sunday

The Kitchener Panthers improved to 7 and 9 on the season after a 15-14 victory over the Barrie Baycats and Jack Couch Park on Sunday afternoon.
Liam Wilson, designated hitter for the Panthers, hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the 10th inning. It was his first home run of the season. He also added a single, double and drove in six runs.
Simon Grinberg also went 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBI.
The winning pitcher was Ted Brimblecombe. He allowed two runs on two hits over three innings.
Skaylar Janisse started and went five innings, giving up 10 runs (seven earned) on 13 hits with seven strikeouts.
Kitchener is scheduled to play Tuesday evening in Hamilton.
