Vidyard recognized as one of Canada’s top employers

The company hosts a video platform providing online communication methods for businesses.
Vidyard has been awarded “one of Waterloo Region's top employers”, and “one of Canada's top small & medium employers” for 2020.
Lisa Brown, VP of Talent at Vidyard, says the two awards they've been recognized with cover multiple facets of the company.
“Anything from our traditional HR programs such as how we pay our employees, the benefits that we provide, the work policies, what the physical work environment is like, rewards and recognitions, celebrations, promotability, the number of people who leave your company versus join your company.”
Brown adds while they appreciate the awards, they're not surprised.
“Each year we have to prove that we've done something more than the year before. We have to continue to enhance and improve our programs, our policies, making sure that our employees are engaged. At Vidyard I think we do do things a little bit differently, our programs can be a little bit different, our celebrations, our culture can be a little bit different.”
The company provides its employees with a number of supports, including tuition subsidies, extended parental leave payments, not to mention a yoga studio and foam pit.
