Man arrested after alleged sexual assault

Police have arrested a suspect following an alleged sexual assault in Kitchener.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday on Mooregate Crescent.

A woman told police she was outside a building in the area when she was approached and sexually assaulted by a man.

After a brief foot chase, officers arrested a suspect.

He is facing a charge of sexual assault.
