One person dead after crash near Erin

A two vehicle crash near Erin has left an 87-year-old man dead.

Frank Wood of Rockwood was pronounced dead at the scene on Wellington Road 125 south of Wellington Road 50 just before five yesterday afternoon.

Wood was on an e-bike when he collided with a pick-up truck.

The driver, 29-year-old Chris Lacasse of Comber wasn’t injured.

Police are still trying to piece together exactly what happened.

Wellington County OPP is asking anyone that may have witnessed this collision to please call 1-888-310-1122.
