A man from Toronto in his forties was arrested Sunday morning, after he allegedly took all his clothes off at a splashpad in front of Guelph City Hall.
The incident happened around 10:30 a.m., with police noting the splashpad was busy at the time.
Police said the man was completely naked when he reportedly entered the water.
A 41-year-old from Toronto was arrested for committing an indecent act, and was then released.
“He was released from the police station with conditions including one banning him from attending splashpads,” said police in a release.
“However police were called to the City Hall splashpad a short time later after Bylaw officials spotted the man there.”
The man is also facing a charge of theft under $5,000 for reportedly stealing a bottle of alcohol from a downtown business.
