The Woolwich Memorial Centre remains closed Friday as the clean up continues in the wake of a vandalism spree at the Elmira facility on New Year’s Eve.
It’s not clear when it will reopen, and the township says decisions will be made on a day by day basis.
In the meantime, township staff are doing some juggling, trying to accommodate previous bookings for Friday at other facilities in the township or in neighboring municipalities.
Some estimates put damage in the neighbourhood of $100,000.
Regional Police continue to investigate.
