Police close part of Ament Line in Woolwich for hydro repairs after crash

A prolonged road closure took effect in Woolwich on Thursday as extensive hydro repairs were needed following a crash.

Police said a vehicle struck a hydro pole on Ament Line, resulting in a closure between Hawkesville Road and Empey Road.

The single-vehicle crash was reported around 11 a.m. and police said no injuries were reported.

The closure continued into the early evening hours on Thursday with no reopening time announced.
