Guelph Constable Charged

A Guelph police officer is facing criminal charges following an incident that occurred back in December.

A public complaint was filed on December 26th, 2012 following an arrest on December 6th which states the officer allegedly used unnecessary force during the arrest.

Constable Corey McArthur, a 12 year member of the Guelph Police Service, remains on duty with a court date set for November 15th.
