Bullets fired into business overnight in targeted shooting

Police were notified of multiple gunshots at roughly 2:30 a.m. Sunday in Kitchener’s River Road and Morgan Avenue Area.

The incident happened on Aug. 30, where police say that multiple bullets were fired into a business. Officials added that there was no one inside of the business which was closed when the shooting happened.

The shooting caused property damage to the front window of the store.

Police believe that the incident was targeted, and there were no injuries reported after the shooting.

The investigation by the Waterloo Regional Police Service is still ongoing.
