Body found in Breslau pond

A man’s body has been pulled from a pond located in a Breslau gravel pit.
Police say a man out for a walk late Sunday afternoon made the discovery.
It was found at Dufferin Aggregates Breslau Pit, which is on Fountain Street near the airport.
Firefighters helped police recover the body.
A police spokesperson tells The Record it doesn’t appear to be a recent death and the body was there for some time.
Police tell us an autopsy will be done tomorrow.
