Inmate at Grand Valley dies

An inmate at the Grand Valley Institution for Women in Kitchener has died.

61-year-old Carol Diane Brandi Bouchard died of natural causes at St. Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday.

Bouchard was serving an indeterminate sentence for first degree murder.

Police and the coroner have been notified.

The Correctional Service of Canada will also review the circumstances surrounding the death.
