Tech companies looking for help

Local technology companies are looking to fill some two thousand positions.

Communitech will hold a job fair Tuesday, January 19th at the Waterloo Inn.

Karen Gallant is Director of Talent Networks at Communitech and tells 570 News
over 20 technology companies will be represented including Christie Digital Systems, Desire 2 Learn,
Sandvine, and Open Text.

She says most are looking for those with a tech and business background.

Gallant adds while some areas were hit in the last year like manufacturing, tech continues to grow.
