Rally in support of Ukraine to be held this week

A rally is set to take place in Kitchener this week in support of Ukraine.

Organized by the Ukrainian community of KWC, the hope is to “bring attention to the mass killings performed by Russia” some five months since the start of their invasion.

The rally is set for Wednesday night and will begin at 7 p.m. at Kitchener City Hall.

Supporters will then start a walk from there at about 7:45 p.m., heading to Victoria Park, along King Street.

Everyone is welcome.
