Air Canada bus service doubles from Waterloo Region to Toronto Pearson

There are more options for Waterloo Region travellers looking to fly out of Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ).

Air Canada announced it’s doubling the number of buses bringing passengers from the Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF) to Pearson.

Starting Dec. 1, instead of the usual five, passengers will be able to take advantage of 10 of The Landline Company’s luxury coach service trips.

“We have been very satisfied with the response from the Kitchener-Waterloo Region to Air Canada’s innovative, multi-modal service,” said Ranbir Singh, the director of regional airlines and markets at Air Canada.

“With the service growing in popularity, we are doubling the frequencies to 10 daily, which will give customers even better, one-stop connectivity between the Region of Waterloo International Airport and key destinations we serve from Toronto Pearson, such as Vancouver, Tokyo, Halifax, San Francisco, and hundreds more.”

Region of Waterloo Chair Karen Redman said the move by Air Canada means more reasons for people to connect through the local airport.

“Doubling the frequency strengthens Waterloo Region’s global reach and opens new doors for our residents, businesses, and visitors alike. We are committed to providing travellers with more accessible options.”

The trips leaving YKF in Breslau will still start as early as 5:30 a.m., but go as late as 8:25 p.m.

Coming back home, from YYZ to YKF, the trips range from 7 a.m. to 10:15 p.m.
