A serious collision closed a stretch of Highway 85 / Arthur Street South in Woolwich for most of Thursday.

Police say the Highway 85 between King Street North in St. Jacobs and the Sawmill Road roundabout is now open at of 3:00 p.m.

Police said at approximately 10:40 a.m., emergency services responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Sawmill Road and Arthur Street South in Woolwich. One person has been taken to an out of region hospital with serious injuries.
